Assistance to Boards of Trustees who would like to replace any of their service providers, including their Security company, Gardening Services or Managing Agent - we source up to 5 relevant candidates and also attend each of their Presentation meetings with the Board of Trustees and one Trustee Meeting thereafter - we do NOT charge Bodies Corporate for this service!
Professional Trustee Services: on a fixed term contract for either 3 months or 6 months - rate dependent on a completed audit and complexity of the challenges that your Board of Trustees is facing;

KIP Property Consulting is owned and run by me, Wesley Petersen, a 32 year old Business Analyst who worked in the Property Management industry for just less than two years in the capacity of Operations Manager. Previously, I worked for Metropolitan Health Group for nearly 10 years.
It doesn't take long to gain a very good understanding of this industry and it's many pitfalls, but what I found most interesting is that service providers to Bodies Corporate generally take advantage of the fact that the Boards of Trustee Members are usually unaware of their duties and responsibilities as defined by the Sectional Titles Act (Act 95 of 1986) and how trusting they are of their Managing Agents, sometimes to their detriment.
I immediately started searching for anyone that offered Professional Trustee Services to this Industry and not even Google was able to come up with an answer. I therefore took it upon myself to offer these services to people like you - people who are looking for a trustworthy, no-nonsense resource that will only be able to justify fees if you really need them. Our Security Estates are usually not managed in the best way due to many reasons (excuses) given by Managing Agents who do not conform to the Code of Conduct as decreed by the National Association for Managing Agents South Africa (NAMASA). I am in no way affiliated to any of the service providers in this industry, including Managing Agents, Security companies, Gardening Services and/or contractors.
Fees:
KIP Property Consulting's fees are very reasonable, ranging from consulting fees charged on a per hour or part thereof basis, through to Fixed-term Contractual monthly fees. We usually charge for the complete audit report but provide you with the Executive Summary free of charge as we do not want to invoice you unless you feel it is actually required. Our fees are based on the job at hand and we will always offer you rates that are directly based on the amount of work that is required, nothing more. A guide to our fees can be downloaded here but please note that it is only a guide - you may be pleasantly surprised to discover a large discount if the work involved did not justify a standard fee. These fees are the absolute limit to what you may be charged.
